So it hit me that I should offer two options for both the nominee and the nominator to chose from

So we now have two options, my original digital rose collection package or a print collection, the prints will be as follows.

Why my digital files are so much, yes the actual burning of the disc doesn’t take much time at all, but that isn’t all that goes with it.  Digital files are not cheaper by any means. When you purchase that disc from me you are purchasing more then just a disc. You can print as many copies from the images on that disc as you would like from whereever you would like.  When you purchase the disc I  personally lose any chance of additional sales once those images leave my hands.

I do not just spend the time with your family that you see me at our session, I personally retouch every image you see in your gallery. On average I spend between 15-30 mins on each image, I average 30 proofs per client. That’s 7 and 1/2 hours in retouching alone and that is if I just spend 15 mins on each image, I spend an hour before our session prepping, 2 hours actually shooting, an hour uploading and backing up your images, 30 mins culling down the images to the best 25-35 images, the retouching, an hour getting a proof gallery online, and another hour at least for our ordering session, in which it takes me another hour to get everything prepped for that, 30-45mins processing your order with my professional lab, another 30-60 mins checking the order once I receive it.

I spend a little over 16 hours with your family and your family alone . This is a custom photography experience.

So as you can see, it’s just not about a little disc, it’s about the art that is on that disc, and the time and effort that goes into creating that art.

The weather couldn’t have been any more perfect today for our session, I swear it was 70 today, which is well awesome for almost the middle of November in Ohio! I had the pleasure of meeting this sibling trio today and we had a great time!

Just giving everyone a heads up that in December I am going to announce my new pricing and policies for 2010.

I am no longer going to require a minimum order, collections have been changed, and there are other changes! Pricing will remain the same as it was this year, but things are going to be a little different! I’m also introducing new products in the upcoming year!

Meet baby C! This little guy is as adorable as they come, he is such a sweetie! His parents were very laid back and was up for anything, his mom brought him that cute little bow tie and requested that shot, I love the way it turned out!! I hope you enjoy the sneak peek!

I am sorry I am behind on this, I had planned to do this Friday night then we had a small emergency here and I forgot all about posting it! (don’t worry, it was just minor!)

Jada was a contestant in my fall contest and won overall photogenic (keep an eye out for her Blog header it will be coming soon!). Jada was a little shy at first, but we quickly formed a friendship and had a great time throwing sillies at eachother and just acting goofy! Like I have said before, I am just a big kid so I have as much fun playing with the children I photograph as they do with me.  She definitely knew how to turn it on for the camera and was overall a pure delight. Her little brother came along to the session and we did some of them together as well, he was just as much fun as Jada and I had a great time with them both.
